IGN to Host Inaugural Virtual Fan Fest - Free Multiplatform Digital Event Showcasing Exclusive Reveals from Gaming and Entertainment's Hottest Properties - February 26-27, 2021

February 3, 2021, LOS ANGELES - IGN, a worldwide leader in games and entertainment media, has announced its first-ever virtual IGN Fan Fest, a two-day multiplatform digital event showcasing some of the most hotly-anticipated movies, TV shows, and games coming in 2021, as well as a nostalgic look back at an enduring fan-favorite series.
IGN Fan Fest aims to bring some of the biggest pop culture news reveals and exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the brand’s passionate global audience, all from the comfort of their own homes. The free virtual festival will take place February 26-27, hosted across IGN’s global network of platforms, including desktop, mobile, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Twitch, Snapchat, TikTok, and OTT channels including Samsung TV+, Pluto, and Plex, which reach a combined audience of over 254 million monthly users.
Highlights will include a conversation with director Zack Snyder to delve into the making of his long-awaited “Snyder Cut” of Justice League for HBO Max; an extended first-look at Amazon Prime Video’s new, adult animation superhero series Invincible, from The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman; the very first Q&A with the cast and creators of Netflix’s upcoming and highly anticipated fantasy series Shadow and Bone; a deeper-than-ever look at the time-manipulating gameplay from Arkane Studios' DEATHLOOP; and a reunion and table read with the stars of Batman Beyond - in addition to many more exclusive sneak peeks and surprises throughout the fest.
Naturally, fans are at the heart of IGN Fan Fest, and IGN will invite viewers to take part in the panels without ever leaving their couch, integrating giveaways and fan questions into the festivities. Questions can be submitted using the #IGNFanFest hashtag on Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok.
