IGN ENTERTAINMENT INTRODUCES SUPER TEAM TOURNAMENT 64, SAYS STEP ASIDE MARCH MADNESS
/Tournament play begins March 17, 2015 wrapping up April 8, 2015 on IGN.com. SAN FRANCISCO, CA (March 18, 2015) – IGN is pleased to announce the launch of its first ever Super Team Tournament 64, live on IGN.com. Showcasing daily battles between some of the most fearless, indomitable yet humorous fictional teams, this massive, multi-part tournament, complete with fabulous prizes has already gained the attraction of over 240,000 votes within the first 12 hours of launch.
STT64 kicked off Tuesday, March 17, 2015 beginning with 32 match-ups running over a four-day period, with semifinal rounds beginning next week. Similar to NCAA’s March Madness, IGN’s STT64 is a single elimination styled tournament, breaking into rounds titled The Stunning 16, The Exalted Eight and The Fearsome Four.
To enter, participants must cast their votes on IGN.com and leave a comment within the article, indicating their prediction of which team will win their head to head battle, during its designated voting period.
